Yucca Sitting

Yucca Sitting

Along University near Ash, I spotted a picturesque scene featuring yuccas and a flurry of sparrows. I attempted to count the birds, but the constant movement made it difficult. After 15, I lost track as they flitted from one yucca to another, always spoiling my count. The dense foliage of the yuccas provided a secure sanctuary for the sparrows, shielding them from potential predators. Despite my attempts to approach, they remained wary and kept their distance. Nevertheless, two lively birds perched atop the yuccas became the image for my 02/07/23 postcard.
