As I set out for my walk, the air was peaceful, with a gentle breeze. While I had heard warnings on the TV about an impending wind, I remained optimistic about my hike. Unfortunately, poor planning led me to walk several miles directly into the fierce wind, making my journey home much more challenging than anticipated. As I pondered my experience with the wind, I decided to feature it in my postcard for 02/26/23. The postcard is a small yard windmill, capturing the wind’s energy with motion, illustrating some of what I encountered on my walk.
