In an unkempt yard on La Veta Drive, where almost no grass remained, I noticed a stone sculpture of a woman, possibly a goddess. This intriguing piece became the focus of my 02/25/24 postcard. I pondered the importance of this sculpture to the homeowners. Did it hold religious meaning, or was it purely for artistic appreciation? And how did it come to find its place in this yard?
