While walking along Laguna Boulevard near the Albuquerque Country Club, my wife found this beautiful yellow rose still in bloom on the first day of November. My 11/01/26 postcard is a photograph of this rose, processed into a painting that brings out the layers and gentle curves of the petals while preserving the warmth of the original flower. A little bit of summer color lingering into November.
