Rainstorms in Albuquerque are a rarity in December, yet the day’s downpour defied the norm. Gazing eastward from Bullhead Park, the transition from rain to snow on the Sandias was starkly visible, marked by an unmistakable line on the mountainside. My 12/23/23 postcard captures this natural division, showcasing where the rain yielded to snow.
