As I walked north along the diversion channel, hoping to catch the balloons, I could only spot them far off. The sky had already cleared by the time I neared Balloon Fiesta Park. My 10/09/24 postcard captures some of the construction workers upgrading the channel, which has been part of an ongoing project for weeks. Though not as spectacular as the balloons, their efforts reflect the hard work reshaping the city’s infrastructure.
