My 08/24/26 postcard is a small Jesus figure I found sitting atop a battered fire hydrant along Lomas Boulevard in Albuquerque. The contrast between the cheerful little figure and the chipped blue-and-yellow metal was what caught my attention. It was one of those odd little things you only notice because you are looking.
