While walking through the landscaping at the VA, I noticed a flower head just beginning to open. Its tightly packed yellow florets formed a geometric pattern, while two ants moved across its surface like explorers in a miniature world. The scene became my 06/17/26 postcard, capturing a small moment that might otherwise go unnoticed.
