My wife spotted a ladybug and asked me to take its picture. We gently turned the leaf this way and that, probably testing the patience of our tiny subject, until everything lined up just right. It may not have been my best image of the day, but I made it my 07/15/26 postcard because the model earned it. Sometimes the best discoveries aren’t the most dramatic; they’re moments shared with someone who’s paying attention right beside you.
