Silent Harvest

Silent Harvest

My 08/28/25 postcard is a sunflower, where its bloom has bowed to time; its once-bright face now a textured mosaic of seeds and brittle husk, with a curled petal clinging at the edges, reminders of the flower’s former radiance. What was once a beacon of summer now stands as a quiet monument to change, holding the promise of renewal within its fading form.
