Looking for a daily picture makes you stop and take note of things that you find interesting. Somethings jump out at you like flowers as they should after all those mega-annums of years working for the attention of insects. What caught my attention for the 04/12 picture was the combination of old-growth and new in a shrub growing along the bike trail at the Tom Bolack Urban Park. In it, I saw an old dried leaf still clinging to the top, seed pods to start a new life, and recent shoots growing to take up the job of last year’s leaves. The circle of life displayed to me along a path as I walked alone on an Easter Sunday morning. It all made sense.
