While wandering through Albuquerque’s Old Town neighborhood, we came across several artichokes in bloom, plants my wife hopes to add to our yard someday. My 06/28/26 postcard features one of those flowering purple artichokes, rendered as a watercolor to capture its quiet elegance and beauty.
