My 07/05/26 postcard features a juvenile Black-crowned Night Heron standing motionless on a log at Tingley Beach. It was studying the water with remarkable patience for several minutes. Seemingly perfectly content to wait, reminding me that successful hunters often spend far more time observing than acting.
