Nature’s Sculpture

While walking through Albuquerque’s Nob Hill neighborhood, I found my 07/02/26 postcard in an unusual seed pod growing in someone’s front yard. At first glance, it looked more like a tiny sculpture than part of a plant. Broad green sepals spread like wings around the fuzzy, developing seed pod, creating a shape that seemed almost alive.
