Locked Down

Locked Down

I discovered the subject for my 05-20-24 postcard at the base of a sign near a bus stop on Carlisle. The abandoned locks, entwined with an aged chain, invoked forgotten stories of security and neglect. Their unexpected presence stirred a surprising emotion within me, as if they held the silent echoes of a past event, blending seamlessly into the concrete canvas of the city.
