My picture for 10/17 is one of the few flowers that I still find blooming while out walking. Seeing lavender always brings to mind a song, “Approaching Lavender” by Gordon Lightfoot, and I played it while posting this picture. It’s on the album “If You Could Read My Mind,” and if you haven’t heard it, you should give it a play.
