My 09/26/25 postcard features a prickly pear pad near  Vassar Drive, pierced by an unknown visitor, perhaps an insect, rodent, or human hand, bearing its wound like a badge. The spines still guard it fiercely, yet the hollow tells the story of survival and intrusion.
