As I strolled through the city streets with my camera slung over my shoulder. I can’t help but draw attention to myself. While, at times, it evokes in some people feelings of paranoia and fear, it sparked curiosity and excitement on this particular day. As I passed by Wilson Park, a group of lively kids spotted my camera and excitedly asked if I would take their picture. Though the lighting and pose may not have been perfect, the moment was truly special. My postcard for 01/25/23 is of those kids, with their zest for life shining brightly.
