Walking down Grandview Drive, we observed a house cat pursuing a roadrunner. Each time, the roadrunner paused to eye the feline, who would stealthily advance. In response, the roadrunner would create distance between them. This dance of advance and retreat continued, with the cat edging nearer only for the bird to dart off. My 03/24/24 postcard captures this roadrunner attentively watching the cat.
