The weather conditions in Bullhead park were challenging due to a wind advisory, and the gusts pushed me around as I walked through the area. Despite the difficult conditions, many dog owners were out and about with their pets. As I continued to explore the park, I came across a duck seeking shelter behind a curb, likely trying to avoid the strong winds. It was an unexpected sight, given there are no bodies of water. Nonetheless, the image of this hardy duck braving the harsh conditions made an impression on me, and I chose to use it for my 02/22/23 postcard.
