Concrete Solitude

Concrete Solitude

My 06/04/26 postcard is a lone man standing near the shallow water of Albuquerque’s Embudo Channel, his attention fixed on the phone in his hands. Surrounded by broad concrete walls, puddles, debris, and reflections, he appears small against the scale of the man-made landscape. It contrasts the vastness of the environment with the intimacy of a person absorbed in a screen.
