Autumn’s Embrace

Some might find the appearance of these pods unsettling, but I’m genuinely fascinated by them. Today’s postcard, dated 10/12/23, showcases a Red Hesperaloe seed pod. It’s not uncommon to spot these around town during this season, and I chanced upon this one in Siesta Hills on Mitchell Road.
