My postcard for 05/26/22 is of a hummingbird waving from a perch along Morningside. I usually don’t see many hummingbirds, and they are moving too quickly to shoot when I do. This one was resting when I raised my camera. Then the bird turned to me, stuck out its wing like a wave, and took off. When I got home, I was happy to find I had caught the bird with its small salute.
