While walking down Smith Ave, I was joined by an unexpected companion—a curious roadrunner who paced right alongside me. It seemed to expect something from me, acting as if it was used to people and possibly even looking for food. My 10-03-24 postcard captures this moment with the bird, which gave me the feeling I wasn’t alone on my walk.
