Tattered Testament

During my outing through a vintage store on Central Avenue, I chanced upon a Jesus figure meticulously carved from a little tree. Its arms were limbs arranged in a fashion mimicking the well-known “Y” motion from the classic YMCA tune, but its expression, worn over time, radiated intense passion. For my postcard dated 06/15/23, I utilized an image of this wooden Jesus’ face, processing it as a painting.
