While navigating the city, I often find myself on bicycle paths, particularly for extended journeys, as they allow me to avoid crossing major thoroughfares. A solitary tree stands along the North Channel trail, just south of Osuna. This tree offers a rare patch of shade, serving as a personal oasis during the sweltering summer days. My 03/26/24 postcard features this very tree. Despite the day being cool and cloudy, eliminating our need for a shaded retreat, the tree still caught my attention.
