While walking down Aspen Avenue, just before San Mateo, I found a pecan tree. The branches filled with pecans, a bounty waiting for harvest. Each time I pass, I can’t help but feel a twinge of sadness as I consider all those pecans going to waste. My postcard for 02/06/23 is three pecans still on the tree in black and white.
