solitary blossom

As I walked Morningside, I was fascinated by a solitary blossom on a tree daring to reach its full potential, surrounded by a sea of buds with yet-to-be-filled promise. My postcard for 03/05/23  is of a single bloom, its petals unfurled amid a cluster of buds.
