Doves are a common sight around town, yet they typically scatter if I pause or gaze at them; their shyness is evident as they quickly take flight at any hint of attention. However, my 05-02-24 postcard captures a rare moment—a dove perched serenely atop a trimmed tree, undisturbed by my presence.
