Silent Predator

My 08/01/25 image captures a robber fly clinging to a sunflower stem, its bristled body and powerful legs frozen in stillness. Up close, it feels like a creature from a different world, part machine, part monster, yet it lives quietly among us, going about its own purposeful, predatory life.
