When I was sixteen, I purchased my first automobile – a green 1956 Pontiac, for a mere $250. It boasted power windows and a hood ornament that illuminated upon activating the light. I walked to Old Town, where they were having a car show, and stumbled upon two 1956 Pontiacs. Witnessing these cars brought me immense pleasure, and I was taken aback by the collectibility they had acquired over the years. The owner confided that the motors powering the windows could fetch between three and four thousand dollars each. My postcard from 05/21/23 is a photograph of a restored 1956 Pontiac taken at the Old Town car show.
