Our weekly excursions to the Sandia Mountains have become a training ground for enhancing our climbing skills. The uphill challenges shape our abilities, but they’re also an opportunity to encounter local wildlife. For my 08/20/23 postcard, I’ve chosen a photo of a Roundtail Horned Lizard we came across in the Gutierrez Canyon Open Space. For artistic flair, I processed the image to resemble a painting.
