My 06/14/26 postcard features a white butterfly resting on a leaf along Alvarado Drive. The morning was windy, and after a couple of hours of walking, it was the only butterfly I encountered. Even then, it made me wait patiently before finally settling down long enough for a photograph. What might seem like an ordinary moment becomes something special when viewed up close, revealing a quiet beauty hidden within an Albuquerque morning.
