My 06/11/26 postcard features a roadrunner along Inspiration Drive that paused long enough to grant me a portrait. It stood atop a piece of wood, as if it owned the yard around it. For a few moments, it seemed perfectly content to pose, offering a glimpse of the quiet confidence that makes roadrunners such an iconic part of Albuquerque.
