Walking in Nob Hill, I chanced upon a Say’s Phoebe on a potted cactus outside a store near Central. Surprisingly undisturbed by my proximity, this bird allowed me within a few feet. It’s uncommon to come this close to these elusive creatures. I was lucky it allowed me to secure this shot for my 08/04/23 postcard.
