While wandering through Siesta Hills, I was capturing a bush with my camera when an unkempt man approached and requested I photograph his ring. He carefully unfolded a large cloth from his pocket, revealing a ring entwined with numerous delicate chains. He pinched it up for me to photograph; I’m featuring it in my 04/03/24 postcard. This ring was his treasured item, and he wished to immortalize it through a photograph rather than merely showing it to me. He desired for the camera to capture his cherished keepsake, his Precious.
