My picture for 02/10 is a couple of old newspapers that were for sale at the Flea Market. The “Nixon Resigns” issue was from 08/09/74; It’s one of those events that you remember what you were doing when you found out. I was out backpacking and heard about Nixon’s resigning on my way home, about a week after it happened. It shocked me for two reasons, one he left office (something I didn’t think he would do) and then I didn’t know about this significant event for almost a week.
