My 12/31/23 postcard captures a roadrunner poised at the edge of Smith Ave. I’ve been walking in the morning when it’s too cold to be graced with roadrunners, but a late afternoon stroll brought the delightful sight of a few of these fleet-footed birds actively darting about.
