While browsing through an estate sale, I came across a 1980 Ronald McDonald doll which I subsequently featured on my postcard dated 06/24/23. There was an era when, if you tuned into TV for an hour or more, you would inevitably see Ronald McDonald engaging in playful antics with characters such as the Hamburglar or Mayor McCheese. According to the McDonald’s website, one in eight Americans had worked at a McDonald’s restaurant – a statistic I contributed to.
