A few years ago, doves were a rare sight, but like roadrunners, they’ve adapted to city life. Now, they’re everywhere but remain shy. While walking on Morningside, I moved around a bush and surprised a dove perched on a small wall, capturing the moment for my 07/01/24 postcard.
