While capturing a rose along Aspen Ave, a man emerged from his house to put out the trash for pickup. Noticing my interest, he took me to his prized rose bush near the house, pointing out what he felt was the most stunning bloom in his garden. That rose became the star of my 05/22/24 postcard, a perfect blend of nature’s beauty and a stranger’s pride in his garden.
