My 05/18/233 postcard showcases a bird species I encountered for the first time. Walking down Phoenix Avenue, I spotted a quartet of guinea fowls busily sifting through yards. Despite their cautious nature, I captured a few shots of these elusive creatures. At first, I thought they were peacocks because of their size, but a web search when I got home revealed they were guinea fowls.
