As I worked at capturing a couple of roadrunners through my lens, enticing them with clicking sounds, my spouse drew my attention to a fat cat. It lounged upon a nearby drive, observing our antics with the rapt fascination of a television fanatic. This cat is the subject of my 04/07/23 postcard and precisely what comes to my mind when someone says “fat cat.”
