My 08/31/25 postcard is a flower we found near the Albuquerque Country Club in its final days, bending with quiet resilience, its petals glowing like embers: gold, red, and fading to purple. Time has worn it down, yet in decline it reveals a different kind of beauty, fierce and fleeting.
