In Albuquerque, you can still walk the irrigation ditches near the river. For our Sunday outing, we took the bus to the Unser Museum and walked the ditches south to Old Town, where we bought candy and visited the Albuquerque Museum. It was a beautiful day, the kind that gets people outside. My postcard for 04/02/23 captures Albuquerque’s unique charm. It’s a couple walking along the Campbell Ditch. The waterway provides a peaceful backdrop for their walk. In the distance, the iconic Hotel Albuquerque stands blocks from Old Town, a testament to the city’s culture and architectural beauty.
