Desert Jewels

For today’s 09/01/23 postcard, I focused on a Prickly Pear adorned with ripe fruit near Kentucky Street. The season has transformed these desert dwellers into showcases of nature’s bounty. However, most of this fruit around the city is never used and rots at the base of the cactus.
