One year ago today I started a quest to take a picture every day for a year. With this picture for 11/11 of a fedora for sale at a thrift store, my year is complete. Over the last 365 days, I’ve shot over 10,000 photos and in the last few months learned a lot about processing. The reason I started this year-long journey was to force myself to look for something of interest in each day. One thing I discovered is how important perspective can be in trying to capture any picture and how much I can alter it using the computer. I’m going to continue trying to shoot a photograph each day, but with the understanding, I might miss a day every once in a while.
