There is nothing I like better than riding the back roads of New Mexico. For years I did this on a motorcycle, this year I’ve switched to a convertible. I’m very aware it’s not the same, but it’s a compromise I can accept. My wife and I got up early and drove the long way to Taos for lunch. The picture I picked for 07/27 is a rock ridge east of highway 142 that we admired and talked about for about 30 minutes. As we drove the angle and the light changed, giving us a new impression of this rock formation every few minutes. The picture doesn’t come close to capturing what we experienced, but it can be a reminder for us.
